Zain is an HCPC-registered speech and language therapist specialising in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Since qualifying in 2021, Zain has spent five years supporting children and young people with complex communication needs across London. Zain works with children and young people who have minimal or unreliable speech, identifying ways for them to access communication and supporting their families, teachers and support staff to build communication into everyday moments. Zain offers AAC assessment and system recommendations, as well as training and implementation support for families, schools, and therapy teams. Other speech and language therapy services include improving speech clarity, developing understanding and use of words, and supporting use of language for social purposes.
